A watercolor composition kept in a pastel, dreamy tone combines delicate branches of blossoming cherry with two blue birds and a subtle outline of a birdcage. Pink sakura flowers scatter against a misty background in shades of turquoise, peach, and lilac, creating the impression of a spring morning's held breath. The whole radiates the poetic lightness and nostalgic calm characteristic of classic Japanese aesthetics.
